Job Description:
Summary of Position:The Regional Sales Manager is responsible
for managing all retail supermarket sales functions amongst
existing accounts, develop new business throughout the East and
works closely with the VP of Retail Sales to build sales and brand
loyalty.Strong communication, collaboration and presentation skills
are essential. This role reports directly to the Vice President of
Retail Sales. The Regional Sales Manager collaborates with the East
Region VP, Inside Sales Reps, other Regional Sales Managers and
cross-functional partners throughout our organization.The Regional
Sale Manager must be detail oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic,
tenacious and creative with entrepreneurial spirit. Must be located
in the Baltimore/DC area. Description and Essential
ResponsibilitiesAchieves annual region sales volume and profit
objectives plus additional KPI's.Develops and executes a viable
business sales plan to deliver significant revenue and gross margin
objectives.Manages, supports, and expands distribution & placements
amongst pre-existing Retailers.Generate region expansion and close
high impact strategic retailer prospects.Works closely with Product
Managers and Category Management to ensure proper pricing, sales &
marketing support.Provide clear verbal and written communication to
other departments.Weekly forecasting and review of performance
metrics.Demonstrate sales leadership skills and represent the
Fortune Fish & Gourmet vision.Represent Fortune Fish & Gourmet at
trade shows, seminars, training seminars and product/client
presentations.Performs administrative duties such as: managing
budget integrity, reporting against individual sales performance
plans, inputting sales information, communicate customer orders and
logistics requests to customer service representative and
maintaining sales records.Willingness to seek self-development
through continuous learning.Qualifications & Experience:Must be
located in or near Boston, MA. 5-8 years of CPG sales experience in
food distribution and/or manufacturer at major grocery
Retailers.Demonstrated success developing new business.Experience
selling to traditional and specialty retail food channels is
required. Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Sales,
Marketing).Strong written & verbal communication skills.Proficient
knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel,
Word, PowerPoint)Strong analytical skills and solid understanding
of customer-focused, fact-based selling to determine key business
opportunities and strategic solutions that drive category
growth.Must have a valid driver's license. Compensation
