An Amazon-based company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Associate to manage procurement processes, maintain optimal inventory levels, and resolve discrepancies efficiently. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, negotiating terms, tracking deliveries, and utilizing procurement software. The ideal candidate will work closely with finance and inventory teams to align purchasing with budget goals, maintain accurate records, and support operational efficiency.Responsibilities Include:

• Procurement Management:
• Manage the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Negotiate terms and contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and delivery timelines.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with finance and inventory teams to align purchasing with budget goals.
• Ensure clear and effective communication with cross-functional teams to support operational efficiency.
• Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
• Coordinate with suppliers to track deliveries and ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of orders.
• Maintain and manage vendor files, ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date.
• Audits & Forecasting:
• Conduct regular audits of procurement processes and inventory to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in forecasting future procurement needs to maintain continuous supply chain operations.Ideal Qualifications:
• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and inventory management systems.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across departments.
