Job Description:
Lead Experience Designer (The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. -
New York, NY) - Lead a design team through conception and
implementation of product design vision by driving user experience
strategy and interaction design to create products that engage and
inspire. Specific duties include: lead and participate in concept
ideation sessions and product style creation by leveraging
ethnographic insights and design thinking; lead the design team to
concept and execute overall user experience, user flows,
wireframes, and information architecture of the product;
communicate product vision and articulate design decisions to team,
both verbally and visually; translate customer insights into
concepts, personas, user-journeys, storyboards and system maps;
lead the design team to concept and execute user interfaces,
interaction models, visual design comps and prototypes; incorporate
user research and usability to iterate on product solutions; and
participate in visual problem-solving collaboration with the
Strategic Designers, Venture Architects, Engineers, Marketers, and
Product Managers. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in
Visual Communication, Interaction Design, Human Computer
Interaction, or design-related field (willing to accept foreign
education equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience designing
products and services from conception to large scale launch and
adoption. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative
experience requirements not applicable to this section) - must
possess the following: (i) Applying prototyping tools including
Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, InVision, Flinto, and
Azure to design clickable prototypes for digital software and
hardware applications; (ii) Delivering concepts, persona artifacts,
user journeys, storyboard artifacts, user flows, and wireframes
using Adobe creative suite, illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop,
hand-drawn sketching and scenarios; (iii) Performing design file
management, branding, and strategic design in a start-up
environment; (iv) Utilizing agile and lean methodologies; (v)
Coordinating with developers to implement designs, create brand
style guides, and facilitate design review; and (vi) Facilitating
design thinking presentations and workshops with corporate clients,
including ideation, synthesis, and affinity mapping.
Domestic/International travel required (up to 50%) based on
company/client need. Must have unrestricted authorization to work
in U.S. M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 45+ hours per week. Send resume
