Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support
K-12 students in Scranton, PA, covering maternity leaves throughout
Lackawanna County, with spring assignments serving itinerant
students in the Dunmore area. This contracted leave role offers an
excellent opportunity for professionals with school-based
experience to impact student communication development in a dynamic
educational setting. Key Responsibilities: - Provide
speech-language therapy services to K-12 students in compliance
with individualized education plans (IEPs) - Conduct assessments,
develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation -
Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to
support student progress - Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse
student needs across multiple school locations Qualifications: -
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required -
Active Pennsylvania SLP license - Prior experience working in a
school setting - Ability to obtain and complete all required PA
background clearances - Reliable transportation for travel between
school sites - Availability for an onsite work schedule, no
telepractice (VOCO) options Additional Details: - Full-time, 35
hours per week; part-time candidates will also be considered -
Contract duration from ASAP start date through August 7, 2026 - One
opening available - Interviews will be conducted via Zoom This role
