Job Description:
Seton Hall University seeks applicants for adjunct professor
positions in German, beginning in Fall 2022. The positions will be
in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures within the
College of Arts and Sciences. Candidates should have a Master’s
degree or higher and experience teaching German. The teaching load
will be one to two courses per semester. Salary: $2,800 for
Master's/$3,100 for PhD per course taught, depending on
credentials. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide quality
instruction and evaluation of students in various levels of German
courses. Create and administer assignments and tests, following
Department guidelines. Maintain accurate student records in
BlackBoard and follow all deadlines for timely submission of
grades. Attend any faculty meetings pertinent to the instructor.
Participate in Department events as needed. Other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications: · Master's degree or higher · Experience
teaching German Desired Qualifications: Ability to incorporate
technology into instruction and provide a well-rounded, interactive
learning experience for students. Salary Range: Minimum pay is
$1200 per credit for those without a terminal degree and $1300 per
credit for those with a terminal degree. Exempt/Nonexempt: Exempt
