An Acute Care Hospital in the Southern Borough of New York City
is looking to add a full time-- -Critical Care Nurse Manager to
their award winning healthcare team.The-- -Critical Care Nurse
Manager would be joining a hospital that houses close to 500
licensed beds and a teaching institution that services borough
residents as a leader in acute, medical and surgical care. The
Medical center has earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of
Approval for quality and patient safety. As a designated stroke and
trauma center the hospital has received top national recognition
from the American Heart and Stroke Association. The state of the
art facility provides quality care to each patient through
selective innovative medical practices supported through top of the
line medical technology and equipment.-- -The Critical Care Nurse
Manager-- -assists in management of the Critical Care services at
the trauma designated facility. Reporting to the VP of Critical
Care services, the-- -Critical Care Nurse Manager will weigh in on
improving policies, procedures, standards and objectives for the
provision of Critical Care Services. They will oversee all of CCU,
MICU and SICU while collaborating with other hospital leaders
throughout various service lines in order to ensure smooth
operations.-- -Requirements include:-- -Valid New York State
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure-- -Current BLS and ACLS
certificationExpert knowledge of Critical Care services and hands
on experience within Critical careThis popular Borough of NYC
