• The VP, Counsel will legal advice and services to business departments concerning commercial banking transactions, vendor arrangements, litigation matters, legal and regulatory requirements and expectations, and corporate governance issues
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and advise on legal risks associated with deals
• Advise on the Bank's legal issues, services and more
• Assist with special projects as neededProfile
  • JD
  • Admitted to NY State Bar
  • Experience drafting and negotiating contracts for a bank, related to financing transactions, commercial lending, loan documents, commercial credit documents, etc.
  • At least four years of experience working at a large law firm, and/or in-house at large financial servicesinstitution
  • Relevant experience in dealing with a broad range of credit and financetransactions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player
  • Fluency in Mandarin a plus Job Offer
