Job Description We are looking for Surgical Tech Job Title : Surgical Tech Location : New Jersey Pay : Negotiable Responsibilities The Surgical Tech works under the supervision of the surgeon and RN Assists surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up of instruments, equipment and supplies for surgical cases and passing items to surgeons and nurses as needed Assists in preparing and moving patients and sterilizing and cleaning instruments, equipment and rooms Qualifications Basic Computer skills required HS Diploma/GED required Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program required BLS from the American Heart Association required Current registration with the Texas Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a surgical technologist for associates working in Texas A person performing Surgical Tech functions within the scope of another Texas license, certification, or registration does not need to register as a Surgical Tech required Certification in Surgical Technology from the National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Certification as a Tech in Surgery (CST) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) required Physical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly) Benefits Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct experience eligible for up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus The bonus will be taxed per IRS regulations Additional relocation bonus may apply based on geographical location Our Total Rewards Are Designed With Your Well-being In Mind And May Include We're committed to delivering whole person care and understand that a comprehensive benefits package enriches the lives of our associates at work and at home Three Health Insurance Plan Options including covering eligible dependents Two Dental Insurance Plan Options including covering eligible dependents Daycare & Medical Flexible Spending Account Options Leaves of Absence, Short Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability Life Insurance and Spouse & Child/Dependent Life Insurance Coverage Options Voluntary Benefits including Hospital Indemnity Coverage, Critical Illness, Accident, Permanent Life insurance, and Norton LifeLock Paid Time Off & Sick Pay Shift Differentials
