Registered Nurse (RN) SupervisorWeekend ShiftsExcellent Weekend RatesThe Health Center at Bloomingdale, a five-star skilled nursing facility, is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor. Our facility is a 120-bed skilled nursing center for geriatric residents. We provide a wide range of nursing care and rehabilitation services for both short-term and long-term care. At The Health Center at Bloomingdale, we have a professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate team that cares for our residents.Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor:Responsible to supervise nurses and aides for Long Term Care facilityWork with the facility's Director of Nurses and Assistant and implement recommended changes as requiredSee residents and monitor resident care and report changes to the Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)Assess newly admitted or readmitted residents and document in the 24 hour report. Follow up on residents as neededMonitor nursing staff to ensure proper documentation on MARs, nurses notes, accident/ incident reports, physician's orders and treatment recordsLiaison between nursing staff and attending physicians. Assess the necessity of calls to the physicians. Assess the necessity of calls to the physicians during off business hoursChecks to see that all supplies are in proper place and all equipment is functioningRequirements for Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor:RN Nursing Supervisor Required experience: Long term care: 1 yearRequired license or certification for RN Nursing Supervisor: NJ Registered Nurse LicenseRequired experience: Nursing: 1 yearRN Supervisor: 1 yearRequired license or certification: RN Registered Nurse#INDNURSE
