We are currently seeking a motivated *Dental Assistant* to join a fee for service general dental office with surgeries. Surgery experience a plus as well as Spanish both not mandatory*Benefits:* Health,401,PPO*Hours:* Monday through Thursday 830 to 5Fridays 9 to 4Saturdays 9 to 2 1 a month*Location: Commack, NY*Duties:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Assist with dental lab tasks such as pouring models and trimming temporary crowns- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the dental office's phone system- Manage patient records and update them as necessary- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries- Collect payments and process billing for dental services renderedQualifications:- Ability to take dental x-rays-Knowledge of Dentrix a plus-Minimum 1 Year of Dental Experienced- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients of all ages- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulationsPlease submit your resume along with any relevant certifications for consideration.Job Type: PermanentPay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hourWork Location: In person#PhaxisJessicaJob Type: Full-timePay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Health insuranceSchedule:* Choose your own hours* Monday to Friday* Rotating weekendsWork Location: In personby Jobble
