Job Description:
A healthcare system in New York City is looking to add a new,
licensedGastroenterologist to one of their facilities. About the
Opportunity: Setting: Inpatient (90%) & Outpatient (10%) Shift:
Days Schedule: 7 on, 7 off Responsibilities: TheGastroenterologist
will be responsible for: Examining & obtaining medical history and
treating acute &chronic illnesses Ordering, performing,and
interpreting diagnostic tests Creatingtreatment plansand
involvingpatients &family members in those plans
Initiatingappropriate specialty referrals Collaboratingon the
improvement in care delivery and service with management, other
Physicians and staff Working with Practice Management to ensure
compliance with billing and coding requirements Providingeducation
for residents, medical students, nursing and other allied health
professions Participatingin Committees as requested by the Chief
Medical Officer and/or Chairman of Medicine. Qualifications:
Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York Board
