Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma Center requiring NYS DOH licensure and ARRT (CT) certification. Responsibilities - Work in a large, 700-bed Level 1 Trauma and teaching facility setting across inpatient, outpatient, mobile, and emergency departments - Perform all types of CT exams including head, pelvis, trauma, specialized cardiac, and CT angiograms - Utilize GE Revolution, GE Discovery, and Toshiba Quillion1 scanners - Night shift from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM with every other weekend required - Exposure to diverse patient populations and case types - Duties include performing a broad range of CT exams, including specialized and trauma cases - Strict dress code: matching, solid color scrubs (no patterns), closed-toed shoes, neatly groomed hair and beards - Long hair must be tied back and beards trimmed for fit-testing - Nails must be free of chipped paint - Complete any required training modules prior to assignment start - Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate - Returning travelers may be subject to an eligibility review process Requirements - Current NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License (license required if applicable) - R.T.
