Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience and active NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist license for a Level I Trauma hospital. Responsibilities - Position is in a Level I Trauma hospital setting serving adult and pediatric patients - Work involves diagnostic imaging using GE, Siemens, and C-arm equipment in operating rooms - Use of Syngo RIS, Siemens Healthineers, Carestream PACS, and Sunrise EMR systems - New GE radiography ED room is utilized for procedures - Day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with every other weekend required - Responsibilities include performing diagnostic studies on both adult and pediatric patients using state-of-the-art imaging equipment - Strict dress code; scrubs must match in top and bottom, any color, no patterns, and not provided - No open-toed shoes or excessive jewelry permitted; long hair must be tied back and beards trimmed for fit testing - Nails must be free of chipped paint - Local candidates within 60 miles will be considered at a reduced pay rate Requirements - Active NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License (license required if applicable) - Current R.T.
