Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Group Home & Day Habilitation Settings Salary: $17.00 per hour Location: Staten Island, NY Education Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent (preferred) Licenses/Certifications Required: CPR/BLS Certification (required) Valid Driver’s License (preferred) AMAP Certification (highly preferred) Any additional medical certification (preferred) Skills Required: Compassionate and respectful demeanor Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow kosher dietary laws and religious protocols Comfortable using hoyer lifts and supporting individuals in wheelchairs Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Shift/Schedule Information: Full-time, 40 hours per week Shifts available: 1st Shift (Morning): Personal care, breakfast preparation, daily activities 2nd Shift (Afternoon/Evening): Recreation, dinner preparation, evening routines 3rd Shift (Overnight): Safety checks, personal care, emergency response Staff must remain on-site until relief coverage arrives Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include: Assisting individuals with hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation Supporting community outings, therapy sessions, and habilitation programs Administering medications (post-AMAP certification) Maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive environment Documenting daily activities, progress, and incidents Participating in interdisciplinary planning and program meetings Providing coverage across assigned program areas Advertising Location: Staten Island, NY Contact for Applicant Resumes: Rebecca Balan Senior DSS Account Manager RCM Health Care Services Rebecca.Balan@rcmt.com INDNYN AC1 ACNYN
