Concerned Dental Care of Farmingville: 1025 Portion Road, Suite H,
Farmingville, NY 11738 Schedule: * Monday - Thursday: 9AM - 6PM *
Friday: 9AM - 5PM Responsibilities: * Assist in providing a safe,
comforting, and welcoming exam room atmosphere * Sterilize and
deliver instruments to treatment area, position and pass
instruments and materials, suction, and expose/develop radiographic
studies * Pour, trim, and polish study casts and removable
appliances * Maintain equipment by completing preventive
maintenance, troubleshooting, and calling for repairs * Capture and
interpret x-rays * Track inventory levels, anticipate needed
supplies, and verify receipt of supplies * Document dental care
services by charting in patient records * Educate patients on oral
hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions
Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) *
Diploma or certificate from an approved Dental Assistant program as
accredited by CODA (preferred) * Current NY DA license, or DANB CDA
in NY, ICE & RHS Certifications (preferred) * CPR Certification *
Minimum 1 year of dental office experience (required) * Previous
dental assistance experience (preferred) * Denticon dental software
knowledge (a plus) Interview Process: * 1 phone interview * 1
