Job Description:

As a Tractor Trailer Operator (TTO) within the Government/Civil Service sector, you will be primarily responsible for operating a tractor-trailer truck to deliver goods and supplies to various government facilities and locations. This role requires adherence to government regulations and safety standards while ensuring efficient and timely delivery of materials. Safely operate tractor-trailer trucks to transport goods to designated locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness. Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries and vehicle conditions. Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery. Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Coordinate with dispatchers and warehouse personnel for efficient loading and unloading. Proficient in operating tractor-trailer trucks. Sound knowledge of traffic laws and transportation regulations. Strong organizational skills for route planning and time management. Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance. Good communication skills for coordination with dispatchers and clients.
