Our client, a logistics and delivery services provider, is seeking a Driver Helper to join their team. As a Driver Helper, you will be part of the transportation support team, assisting drivers with deliveries and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Driver Helper Location: Deer Park, NY Pay Range: $17 Shift: Start times vary between 5 am and 6 am, Monday through Friday What's the Job? Assist company drivers with the delivery of books and equipment to schools across Long Island and Manhattan Load and unload products or equipment from the warehouse in Deer Park Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure timely completion of routes Support safety protocols by wearing steel toe shoes and rubber anti-slip footwear Help ensure the delivery process is efficient and organized What's Needed? Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbs comfortably Flexibility to work 15-40 hours per week, with varying routes each day Reliability and punctuality to start early in the morning Willingness to work Monday through Friday Basic physical fitness and attention to detail What's in it for me?
