Job Description:
Waste Connections is seeking a dedicated Front Load Driver at
our Honey Brook, PA location. This role is pivotal in our mission
to provide top-tier waste management services, as it directly
supports our daily operations in residential, commercial, and
industrial waste collection. As a Front Load Driver, you will be
responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks and are expected
to navigate both rural and urban settings efficiently. A commitment
to safety, adherence to Waste Connections' operational standards,
and proactive engagement in maintaining a clean and safe
environment is crucial. This position is a great fit for
individuals passionate about contributing to environmental
sustainability through effective waste management. Operate front
load trucks to collect waste as scheduled, ensuring timely service
to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Perform daily
pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure operational
safety and efficiency. Coordinate with dispatch for optimized route
planning and immediate reporting of any service interruptions or
severe weather conditions. Maintain a clean and organized truck and
adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements related to
waste transportation. Provide outstanding customer service,
addressing and escalating customer issues as necessary. Participate
in job-related training and safety meetings. Proficiency in
operating front load and other heavy-duty trucks. Strong
navigational skills and knowledge of traffic laws. Ability to
perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Excellent
time management and communication skills. Medical Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s
License (CDL). A clean driving record. Preferably hold an OSHA
certification in Safety and Health for Drivers.
