lists. Overview The Senior Director, Scientific Communications has
a strategic leadership role within Global Medical Strategy &
Communications with responsibility for leading the development and
execution of comprehensive scientific communications strategies
across multiple indications and geographic regions. This role will
oversee the development of scientific messaging for internal
stakeholders and the external medical community, ensuring One
Medical voice. As a core leader within the brand medical strategy
team (Medical Strategy Lead, Publications Lead, Scientific
Communications Lead) this person will help shape cross-indication
strategy and is the key driver to lead and build a best-in-class
omnichannel communications strategy to deliver an integrated
medical education experience for the healthcare community. The
Senior Director, Scientific Communications leads the team
responsible for development of integrated medical communications
plans by indication, including the congress plan and supportive
materials, field medical tools and resources, scientific
communication digital platforms, medical training content, FAQs,
symposia, medical education materials, etc. Critical to success,
this person must liaise with internal stakeholders and medical
experts to ensure the communications strategy incorporates
relevant, data-driven, disease and product scientific messages such
that scientific information is disseminated to the medical
community appropriately and timely. Responsibilities
Responsibilities (Essential Role Responsibilities): Drive
establishment and shaping of medical strategies, with pull through
within the framework of scientific communications to ensure
alignment of all deliverables with overall company strategy As a
member of the brand medical strategy team, drive development of
core scientific communication platforms, including alignment and
appropriate utilization of approved communications with internal
and external key collaborators Develop and maintain in-depth
knowledge in relevant therapy areas including disease state,
treatment guidelines, drug mechanisms of action, product efficacy
and safety profile and competitive landscape Provide strategic
leadership and input into the end-to-end processes for developing
and reviewing congress materials, communication tools, and
omnichannel engagement strategies. Ensure seamless delivery of
scientific content across multiple platforms while maintaining
consistent messaging and educational value Lead and implement an
innovative, best-in-class omnichannel strategy for Medical
Affairs-driven medical education across indications, championing
novel approaches and measuring demonstrable impact on the medical
community through integrated digital and traditional channels. Stay
abreast of Global regulations and guidance that impact digital
delivery of scientific information to external HCPs Ensure
strategic alignment of scientific communications across all
channels Lead continuous adaptation to evolving clinical practices
and educational needs Position Requirements (Required and/or
Preferred Skills, Experience and Education): Master's degree in a
scientific discipline, advanced degree strongly preferred (PhD,
PharmD or MD) At the Senior Director level, a minimum 8-10 years of
relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry is
required, primarily in a Medical Affairs scientific communications
role Experience in respiratory or allergy/immunology therapeutic
areas is preferred Prior pre-launch/ launch experience preferred
Experience in building and leading a high performing team
Demonstrated success in design and implementation of omnichannel
approaches to execute medical communication strategies to ensure
strategic alignment across channels. Demonstrated leadership role
in designing scientific communications strategy in alignment with
corporate strategy Global experience or experience in multiple
regions including the US is an advantage. Demonstrated ability to
develop innovative approaches within MA; experience with label
expansion is a plus Ability to operate seamlessly in a matrixed
organization?. Previous leadership experience in medical affairs
and the ability to lead by influence. Demonstrated experience
managing competing priorities and tight deadlines Ability to manage
external vendors and provide clear, concise direction Excellent
written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to
understand and effectively communicate complex scientific and
clinical data to internal and external stakeholders Highly
organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and
conciseness Demonstrated ability to work effectively within
collaborative and cross-functional teams Must successfully exhibit
Insmed's five (5) core corporate competencies of: Excellence,

other position specific competencies! Individuals must demonstrate
the ability to interact successfully in a dynamic and culturally
diverse workplace! Travel Requirements Up to 15% travel is required
This role can hybrid or remote-based LI-Remote LI-Hybrid Salary
Range $215,000 - $301,000 a year Compensation & Benefits At Insmed,
